2006 Mudgee Wine Show Results
The Mudgee Wine Show was conducted in the first week of November and congratulations to all of the winners. Including the trophy winners listed below there was a total of 23 Gold, 47 silver, 99 bronze medals spread among the 348 entries. This means that 48.5% of wines entered in the show received a medal, which is a great result for Mudgee wineries and speaks volumes for the overall quality currently being produced.
In fact, at the Judges Forum after the judging, Huon Hooke paid the greatest compliment of all by stating that Mudgee is in the top 5 Cabernet Sauvignon producing regions in the country. Well done everyone!
